Coping with Exam Stress

The causes and ideas to combat stress over the exam period

1. Take breaks - cramming does not work.

2. Build up your revision. If you are starting out, do 10-15 minute blocks and build up to 30 - 40 minutes.

3. Pair up your topics. Choose something you feel confident in and then do something you don't.

4. Note down what you have revised and choose a different topic next time.

5. Do something with the information. Note taking or reading is not an effective revision method.

Revision doesn't have to be stressful

There are lots of tips and tricks to help. Starting early so you have time to find what works best for you is key.

These pages have been put together to help you in each of your subjects.
